John's Comments
Visiting the Mormon tabernacle and surrounding buildings was very interesting. The city itself seemed to be guite clean and the grounds in the areas visited were always immaculate. Salt Lake itself seemed as if it had better times (the lake). Likely quite different than most would expect. It is quite a modern city and very clean. The buildings are very impressive, especially those created by the Mormons. There is a good walking tour which are accompanied by quides that give a good overview of both the buildings and how their religion was started. Even for those that are non-religious it can be an interesting visit.

John`s Recollections
Spent a good part of the day here, took the tour of the grounds, and was quite impressed by the cleanliness and the buildings themselves.
