Florida other than the hurricanes is a great place to retire. Major Attractions are everywhere and the sun & beaches provide many the chance to get away from the Northern winters. Our favorites in the area include driving to Key West & back ( where one can view the beauty of the Everglades and enjoy the vibrant colors of the Ocean waters. After spending winters in the Miami, Fort Myers areas we have settled in Clearwater where life is a bit slower yet all comforts are available.
