Maryland & Washington, DC: The Capitol, Baltimore, Annapolis, are all worth visiting. Something for everyone, including history, boating, & sports venues.
Washington has so much history, yet I found Baltimore just a great place to visit also. Remarkable transformation of the harbor area provides a really fun place to be with many exciting activities available. Annapolis has a very unique historic area also that uses its waterways for many types of watercraft activities.
