Brooker Creek Preserve
Tarpon Springs,Florida
Over 8000 acres in the midst of a growing population center have been preserved as a location to allow for wildland hiking trails. Although trails are a major part of the preserve the newly established trails near the interpretive centres allow all to view nature the way it was prior to our population growth. An excellent spot to see how Florida once was.

John`s Recollections
Actually quite a good walking trail. One can go for 400-500 yards or if energetic several miles. Wildlife can be encountered on the trip, such as deer that I was fortunate to see several times. Also the marsh area and brook show how Florida was at one time. Well worth a visit.
